Choose your website type from the dropdown menu. Once selected, you'll see step-by-step "cake layers" that guide you through the process from account creation to having your event website live. No matter which type you choose, our team reviews your submission and gets your page live within 48 hours of approval (often sooner).

Step 1
Create your account
Begin by registering for a free Sonfie account. Click the Register link, enter your details, and submit. You'll receive a verification email—be sure to click the link inside to confirm your email address. Without this step, you won't be able to start creating your event.
Step 2
Start your project
Once logged in, click the Sonfie logo in the top left to go to your dashboard. Select 'Get Started' and choose Banner as your website type. This ensures you'll have a prominent, personalized banner at the top of your RSVP page.
Step 3
Choose your banner design
Browse through our curated banner templates. You can filter by event type— birthdays, weddings, baby showers, reunions, and more—to find a design that matches your style. Once you find the perfect fit, click 'Next' to lock it in.
Step 4
Enter your event details
Fill in all the important information—your custom website URL, event name, host name, description, venue, address, city, state, zip, event date, start and end time, RSVP-by date, contact info, guest limit, optional meal choices, and the 'thank you' and 'regrets' messages attendees will see after they respond.
Step 5
Optional matching invite
You'll be prompted to add a matching 5”x7” digital invitation. This gives you a ready-to-send invite that perfectly matches your website for a polished, cohesive look.
Step 6
Payment
Review your details and complete payment. This locks in your template selection and sends your event to us for review.
Step 7
Approval and publish
Our team reviews your submission for accuracy and formatting. Once approved, your banner event site will be live within 48 hours—often the same day.
